ABOUT THE PROJECT
The Reginald F. Lewis Museum is the premier experience and best resource for information and inspiration about the lives of African American Marylanders. The Lewis’s exhibits explore local African-American heritage through themes of family, community, slavery & art. Their exhibits, collections, and events are ground-breaking as it includes innovative works. It was important that the rebrand give new life to a historical institution.
When the Lewis Museum contacted Toni (Skye Media Group) they were looking for a fresh look for lewismuseum.org. They also wanted to redesign and overhaul the brand plan for the Museum. They wanted to retain the logo, but have a standard for colors and styling for all marketing materials and assets.
Deliverables:
Identity
Prototyping | Art Direction | Logo System | Brand Mood Board | Brand Style Guidelines | Brand Voice | Social Media Templates
Web Development
Content Architecture | Custom WordPress | Content Strategy | Website Design | Events Calendar | Quality Assurance | Mobile Accessibility | Staff Training
“I appreciated the attention to detail and brand. Also, I liked the fresh eye approach to the museum that was rolled into the consultation. Sometimes you are too familiar and too close to a brand to make decisions around it. Working with Toni went extremely well. The website is gorgeous! We have shocked the industry and community with a new look. Our brand makes sense now and we have the tools to keep it consistent across all of our channels.”
